KNOW THE LAWS IN PUERTO RICO
Puerto Rico has a good Animal and Cruelty Law (Ley Num. 154) on the books that need to be enforced. Take the time to educate yourself on these laws and report mistreatment on the island when you see it. You can find the current law here -

OUR POSTCARD CAMPAIGN WAS A SUCCESS!
Save a Sato designed and printed postcards to send to the Governor of Puerto Rico in 2007/08 requesting his leadership in finding a humane solution to the island's animal overpopulation problem. Our postcard features a “before” and “after” image of one of our Sato rescues and a respectful message that says that every stray animal deserves humane treatment. In total, we sent nearly 3,000 of them to the Governor. Special thanks to the members of Girl Scout Troop 127 of Greenbelt, MD, that sent postcards they signed to the governor.
