SHELTER/RESCUE GROUP PARTNERS

What follows is a list of wonderful shelters and rescue groups that partner with Save a Sato to help find homes for our rescued dogs. If you live near any of these shelters or rescue groups and are interested in adopting a Sato, please visit their websites or stop by for a visit. If you are not near one of our stateside partners, please go to your local animal shelter and adopt a dog that needs a good home or look for a rescue group online. Please don't contribute to the enormous pet overpopulation problem by supporting a pet store, puppy mill, or backyard breeder.

If you are traveling to Puerto Rico and would like to adopt a dog directly from Save A Sato, please This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it PRIOR to coming to the island. You will be required to complete an adoption application and provide vet and personal references in addition to proof of home ownership or a letter from your landlord giving you permission to have a pet. We are not able to ship Satos to the states to be adopted privately.

Happy Endings! Some of the dogs that have traveled from our shelter in Puerto Rico to our Partner Shelters. Thanks to the wonderful work of our Partners these dogs have all found their forever homes.
