We are an all volunteer organization, please be patient with us, we respond to E-mail as quickly as possible.

Currently, our shelter and foster homes are filled to capacity. If you have found a sato, we ask that you provide food and medical care. If you cannot keep the sato long term it may be possible to be added to our waiting list so that we may help you as space in our shelter becomes available. There are many other rescue groups on the island and one of them may also be able to assist you. View a list of those organizations here.

Please note that as much as we would like to accept any dog into our system, we have very limited resources. Therefore, we must give precedence to animals that are in immediate danger. We will try to help any homeless animal that is injured, pregnant, or too young to fend for itself.

We CANNOT help people who have made the decision to give up their family pet for whatever reason. We hope that people will always think twice--and then twice again--before breaking a bond with an animal that loves them and is used to life in their home.

Your application will be reviewed for approval and you will be contacted to set up an appointment to visit the shelter.
