Dogs listed here are available for adoption locally in Puerto Rico only, unfortunately we are not able to adopt directly to an individual on the mainland. We work exclusively with reputable partner shelters in the Northeast to find homes for our dogs. Once the dog has been transferred to a partner shelter we remove the listing here. If you would like to inquire about a specific dog we would be happy to provide you with the partner shelter contact information when the dog is transferred in order for possible adoption direct from the partner shelter. Please note that our hard working volunteers are continually updating this page, however a particular dog may become unavailable before we have a chance to update. Dogs marked "Pending Adoption" are scheduled to be transported to one of our partner shelters on the mainland. Dogs marked "Hold" are not ready to be placed yet however you can be put on the waiting list for a dog listed as on hold.
